Trading System
The trading system is the game mechanism designed to enable realistic trading activities during the live-action role-playing game (LARP). This is achieved by allowing you to engage in both your personal economy and the economy of your crew or organization.
Currency
The currency in The Tundlaheim Saga is divided into four different denominations, represented in the form of 7 different coins. The exchange rates between these denominations can be found in the table below, followed by images of the different coins and a list of average prices and costs for reference.

Personal Economy
Your character's personal economy is measured in the coins, items, and securities they own. These funds can be used to purchase goods and services during the LARP, such as participating in card or dice games, sending letters, buying newspapers, buying potions (drugs, poisons, etc.), buying valuable items or bribing your opponents.
Note: Be aware that withdrawing from the ship/organization's economy for personal use may have severe consequences.
Our multifaceted trading system offers investment opportunities for those who come across larger sums of money. If you have a knack for business, you can start accumulating wealth and eventually establish your own trading house. Win big in a card game, invest your winnings in existing trading houses, companies, or crews, buy trading ships and fill them with goods for your journey around Tundlaheim during our popular inter-LARP games.
Organizations and Companies
The focus of the campaign is on pirates and smugglers. However, there are opportunities to explore various other types of businesses. As a representative of an organization, whether it's a pirate/smuggler/trading ship or some kind of tavern, it's your responsibility to look after the organization's trading interests during the LARP. The three main pillars of the trading system are therefore pirates, smugglers, and trading houses. There are also various specialized businesses that one can acquire and develop in-game.
Pirates
Pirates plunder and steal. If you represent a pirate ship during an event, you need to ensure that the ship's basic needs are met for the next voyage and try to make as much profit as possible from the stolen goods you bring to the event. Basic needs include rations of grains, fruits and vegetables, meat and fish. Additionally, you must have enough money to pay the wages for the next voyage.
Smugglers
Smugglers invest in extra valuable stolen goods. Smugglers in The Tundlaheim Saga often sail small and agile ships, focusing on entering affluent areas where they have contacts among local retailers of expensive goods. This way, they can buy luxury items from pirate crews and sell them at a much higher price.
Trading Houses
Trading houses that are bold enough to trade with pirates without falling victim to them, while also protecting themselves from the laws of the kingdoms, have the opportunity to make a fortune in a pirate-infested world like Tundlaheim.
